Hey there!

Welcome to my website! I’m so glad to have you here.

My name is Miranda. I’m a content creator, photographer and youth yoga teacher. Other titles I have include wife, dog-mom, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. I’m originally from the Carolinas–born in North Carolina, brought up in South Carolina–and a proud alumna of the University of South Carolina’s school of Public Health. I recently moved to Portland, Oregon in April/May, 2020 (whew, what a time!) and have enjoyed becoming a part of the community here.

If you’ve known me IRL (in real life) for a while, you may be wondering how I went from real estate and media to where I am now on my career path. Well, my yoga and photography businesses allow me to practice stillness, to be present, and to allow my mind and body to become onethings that can change the world if we all practiced them. I believe everything is better understood with a story, so if you venture over to my yoga or photography pages, you’ll quickly learn why and how I ended up making these two (seemingly random) jobs my full-time career–and why I love offering these gifts to the world.

When I’m not working, I love to travel with my besties, Marcus and Mocha, and they just happen to be my family too–my husband and my dog. I’m also a bit obsessed with coffee, and you can bet that I am always down for a coffee date if you’d like to meet up before hiring me!

If you’re wondering what it’s like to work with me, I asked a few people who know me best to describe me–and here are a few of their answers: generous, silly, benevolent, eclectic, intentional, adventurous, determined, and animated. (I may or may not have left out a word that starts with a “C” and rhymes with “mumsy.”)

Overall, I want to use this platform as a way to spread kindness, to speak my truths and to discuss allll the other thoughts along the way as well. Subscribe for updates sent to your email if you’d like, and as always, thank you for reading!

Peace, love, and light,

Miranda
